Bank statement PDF to Excel, without the copy-paste

Copying a PDF statement into Excel by hand ruins an afternoon — narrations wrap, amounts land in the wrong column, and the totals never tie. Upload the PDF instead. Every transaction comes out as its own row, the running balance is reconciled so nothing is missed, and you can download the whole thing as Excel in one click.

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a bank statement PDF to Excel?

Upload the PDF, let it parse, then press Export Excel. You get a clean sheet with one row per transaction — date, narration, reference, debit, credit and running balance — plus every column the statement itself carried.

Does it work on scanned statements?

It reads text-based PDFs, which is what net-banking downloads are. A scanned photocopy has no text layer, so run it through OCR first or download the statement again from net banking.

Will the columns line up properly?

Yes. The parser follows printed column positions rather than guessing at spaces, so multi-line narrations stay with their own row and amounts do not drift into the wrong column — the two things that break copy-paste.

Can I get the balance column too?

Yes, and it is used as a check: the running balance is reconciled line by line, so a missing or misread transaction is flagged rather than silently carried into your books.

Do I have to post it to Tally?

No. Convert to Excel and stop there if that is all you need. If you do want the entries in Tally, the same import posts them as vouchers or gives you a Tally XML file.

Is it free?

The free trial covers 100 entries with no monthly reset. Entry packs start at ₹1,199 for 3,000 entries.
